CKDA New Look

If you haven’t been inside the studio yet, be sure to stop in and take a look at the new décor.  Over the summer several wonderful parents and students gave of their time and talents to give the studio a “make-over”.  It is beautiful and inspiring with the new colors and style.  Thanks so much to Dana Youngblood, Caran Shaheen, Diana Burnthorn, Gina Mueller, Lisa Jones, Mari-Scott Conrad, Sami Koppenhagen, Courtney Burnthorn, Kayci Jones, Darian Jones, Madison Youngblood, and Traci Kurth.  I love you all!

SHHS Homecoming Parade

 

The SHHS Homecoming Parade will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 5:30 PM.  This year the parade will BEGIN at the high school and will END at Market Basket.  Please bring blanket/towel to sit on and candy to throw if you plan on participating.  We need trucks/trailers for the parade.  If you have a truck/trailer and can drive in the parade please let us know.  Parents may ride, only if there is available space.  Arrive at the high school parking lot between 4:45 and 5:00 PM to ride on our floats.  When you arrive at the high school, drive back into the parking lot, where the floats are being lined up and then look for our floats.  We will return the students to the studio after the parade.  There is a community pep rally at the football stadium right after the parade.  Please go out and support our Broncos!! 

The Pep Rally will feature the Broncos, the band, the cheerleaders and the Broncettes.  J 

NO DANCE OCT 6

Due to the SHHS Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally there will be NO dance classes held on Thursday, October 6th.  Please mark your calendars!!

 

Costumes

Remember that costumes that were not paid in full in September, must be paid in 4 equal installments, added to Sept – Dec tuition.

We have t-shirts for sell celebrating our 25th 
year in business.  Check out our new shirts and 
our clearance items too!  
 

Parking

We have been fortunate that the printer across the street has agreed to let our staff park in his parking spaces.  This has greatly helped in opening up spaces in our parking lot for our customers.  Please remember that you are not to park at the accountants’ office to the north of the studio until after

7:00 PM.  The front of the studio is for Drop Off only.  Please DO NOT PARK there as it severely heeds visibility for those pulling out. 

 

 
Moss Bluff Harvest

The Scarecrows are coming!!! Yes, you heard right – The Moss Bluff Harvest Festival is BACK and sure to be better than ever.  It will be held at the Moss Bluff Recreation Complex, Nov 17-19.  There will be rides, great food, great music and GREAT FUN!  For info on the Moss Bluff Harvest Festival check them out on Facebook or ask Ms Caran at the studio. 

Dance Team – National CHAMPS!!

For those of you who don’t know yet, our Senior Company was named National Champions at the DMI Myrtle Beach National Final Dance Competition.  All three of our entries received a 1st place rating, and our performance of “Parachutes”, which the girls also performed at recital, won first place out of all teen entries.  There were over 200 numbers in the competition and 44 teen entries.  The studio received a giant trophy and $1000.  GO DANCE TEAM.  I am so proud of this group of girls.  They are wonderful people who love each other and love to dance.  Thank you my beautiful dancers for your dedication and the joy you bring to my life.
