Please read all information carefully.    Understand that dress rehearsal is MANDATORY!  While STAGE rehearsals are not mandatory, they are essential to your child, and her class having a great show.  It makes a world of difference when the students are able to get on the stage with time to understand the space, entrances, exits, formations, etc.  So, please do you best to have your child at ALL of their scheduled rehearsals.  We are fortunate to have the Civic Center for 4 days again this year.  I know it may seem like a lot, but remember it’s only once a year and it is what your child has worked for ALL YEAR!  Again, Dress Rehearsal is MANDATORY!  Failure to attend dress rehearsal will result in your child not being allowed to perform in the show. 

 

 

Monday, June 7th – Tuesday, June 8th – Wednesday, June 9th: 

All classes held as usual at the studio.  Nothing changes.

 

Thursday, June 10th at the STUDIO: 

Thurs PreK & Kinder classes meet as usual AT STUDIO.

Technique class meets (Adv & Beg) at 5:30 at studio.

 

Thursday, June 10th at the Civic Center:  (in leotards or appropriate dancewear)

3:15 –4:45 PM             All Team Numbers (Senior / Int / Petite)

4:45 – 5:45                   1st – 2nd Grade Jazz-HipHop/Ballet that typically meets on Mondays

5:45 – 7:30                   1st – 2nd Grade Jazz-HipHop/Ballet/Tap that typically meets on Thursdays.

7:30 – 8:15                   HS Jazz / HS Hip Hop

8:15 – 9:30                    Adv Ballet / Adv Pointe

 

Friday, June 11th  at the Civic Center:  (in leotards or appropriate dancewear)

1:00 – 2:30                     JH Jazz (Mon & Wed) / JH Hip Hop

2:30 – 3:45                     Ballet III / Beg Pointe

3:45 – 4:45                      3rd – 5th Grade Tap / JH-HS Tap

4:45 – 6:45                      All 3rd-5th Grade Jazz/ Hip Hop / Ballet Classes

6:45 – 8:00                      HS Jazz/HS HipHop/ Adv Ballet / Adv Pointe

9:00 – Noon    PreK & Kinder Dress Rehearsal (in full costume) MANDATORY

**PreK Dancers will perform their acrobatic skills immediately following their

ballet numbers at dress rehearsal ONLY.

 

Saturday, June 12th at the Civic Center (IN LEOTARDS or appropriate dancewear)

12:00 – 12:45                  Acro I

12:45 – 1:45                    Acro II / Acro III

1:45 – 2:45                      All Junior High Numbers in this order:  (Jazz / HH / Ballet / Pointe / Tap)

2:45 – 3:45                      All High School Numbers in this order:  (Tap / Jazz/ HH / Ballet / Pointe)

3:45 – 4:45                      All 3rd – 5th Grade Numbers in this order:   (Tap/Jazz / Hip Hop / Ballet)

4:45 – 6:00                      All 1st – 2nd Grade Numbers in this order:  (Tap/Jazz-HipHop/Ballet)

6:00 – 7:00                      Boys Hip Hop & “Boys Only” Tap

7:00 PM                          IMPORTANT PARENT MEETING – Please meet out front at 7:00

7:15 PM - til                    MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL (in full costume) 

 

If you need transportation for your child, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to help you find a car pool.  There are parents and teenagers that can help out but WE NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE!! 

 

Remember that all “stage” rehearsals are in leotards or dance wear.  DO NOT buy a new leotard simply for this, but dancers do need to be in appropriate attire with proper footwear as well.

 

Video-taping is allowed during dress rehearsal ONLY.  Taping during the show is PROHIBITED!

General Admission is free to the public.  Reserved Seating goes on sale May 17th.  Reserved seats are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at

Programs are available for $5.00 as souvenirs.  If you purchase ANY ad in the program, you receive one free program, which will be given out with your parent pack.

 

Parent packs will be available for pick up beginning June 1st.  This will contain your parent pass to gain backstage admission, registration information, t-shirts, certificates, medals, etc., so please be sure to pick up parent packs BEFORE we move everything to the Civic Center.  Parent packs will include summer schedules and early registration information as well.

Tues AM PreK:  Tap – White lace top socks / No Tutu / Black tap shoes (no ties)

                                  Ballet – White lace top socks / Tutu pinned at hips / Pink ballet shoes (pink elastic) 

Tues Eve PreK:  Tap – White lace top socks / Tutu busseled across behind / Black tap shoes (no ties)

                                 Ballet – White lace top socks / Tutu pinned at hips / Pink ballet shoes (pink elastic)

Thurs Eve PreK:  Tap – White lace top socks / Tutu busseled across behind / Black tap shoes (no ties)

                                 Ballet – White lace top socks / Tutu pinned at hips / Pink ballet shoes (pink elastic)

Tues Eve Kinder:  Feathers on left shoulder for tap and jazz / Feathers in hair as best suited for hair style

                                 Tap – White lace top socks / Tutu busseled across behind / Black tap shoes (no ties)

                                 Ballet – White lace top socks / Tutu pinned at hips / Pink ballet shoes (pink elastic)

Ballet:  1st – 2nd Grade / 3rd – 5th Grade & JH:  “Ballet pink” tights.  Pink ballet shoes with pink elastic.  (NO HOUSE SHOES)  Pink Pointe shoes for beginning pointe.  If not sure, ask Ms Stacy. 

Ballet: Advanced and Advanced Pointe:  Nude tights / Pink ballet shoes and pink pointe shoes. 

 

1st – 2nd Grade:

Monday Jazz-HipHop:  Black socks / black jazz shoes     

Thurs Jazz-HipHop 1 & 2:  Boot covers that came with costume over jazz shoes. 

Tap: White lace top socks/Black Tap Shoes (No Ties)

 

3rd – 5th Grade:

Jazz I:  Black Jazz Shoes / Silver sock tops                Jazz II:  Black socks / Black Jazz Shoes

Hip Hop 1 & 2:  Black jazz shoes / Leggings that came with the costume

Tap:  White fold down socks / Black tap shoes (no ties)

 

Junior High & High School:

JH Jazz Mon – Black jazz shoes / black socks                Wed  JH Jazz – Nude tights / paws or tan jazz shoes

HS Jazz – Nude tights / tan jazz shoes or paws                JH & HS Hip Hop – Black socks / Black jazz shoes

Tap – Black tap shoes / clear bra straps under red top
