Rehearsal Schedule June 2009

The week of June 1 – 5 will remain exactly the same as always.  All classes meet at their usual time.

                        *No technique classes in June

Mon - June 8^th:  All classes meet at their usual time at the studio in leotards.

Tues - June 9^th:  All classes meet at their usual time at the studio in leotards.

Wed - June 10^th:  All classes meet at their usual time at the studio in leotards.

Thur - June 11^th:  All classes meet at their usual time at the studio in leotards (no tech or team)

The following classes meet at the Civic Center on Thursday, June 11^th in leotards.

            All HS classes meet from 4:45 to 6:45 PM  Jazz / Hip Hop/ Adv Ballet / Adv Pointe

            JH / HS Tap meets from 6:45 – 7:15

JH classes meet from 7:15 to 9:00 PM  Mon Jazz / Wed Jazz / Hip Hop / Ballet III / Beg Pointe

The following classes meet at the Civic Center on Friday, June 12^th in leotards.

            1:15 – 3:30  All JH & HS Classes meet.  Tap / Jazz / Hip Hop / Ballet / Pointe

            3:30 – 6:00  All 1^st – 2^nd Grade Classes meet  Tap / Jazz / Hip Hop / Ballet

            6:00 – 9:00 All 3^rd – 5^th Grade Classes meet Tap / Jazz / Hip Hop / Ballet

Saturday, June 13^th at the Civic Center we will meet as follows:

            10:00 AM to Noon            DRESS REHEARSAL for PreK and Kinder**

                                    **This is in full costume and will run in the order of the show.

PreK Acro Exhibition will immediately follow dress rehearsal – NO TUTUS!

Saturday, June 13^th at the Civic Center in leotards.  (please arrive a little early so girls can stretch)

            Acro I – 12:00 – 12:30 PM

            Acro II – 12:30 – 1:00 PM

            Acro III – 1:00 – 1:30 PM

            Team – 1:30 – 2:30

            Boys’ Hip Hop – 2:30 – 3:00

            Anything called for extra rehearsal will meet from 3:00 to 5:00 PM

            5:00 PM  Dress rehearsal for GALA performance Full Costume in order of show.

Sunday, June 14^th at the Lake Charles Civic Center Rosa Hart Theatre – 22^nd Annual Recitals:

            PreK / Kinder 2:00 PM                   Gala Performance – 5:00 PM*

                                                *If your child is receiving a 5 year or up medal, please line up backstage by 4:45 PM

Please make arrangements to be at all rehearsals.  It helps ALL of the dancers when they all get time on the stage to get used to the space and the facility before having to perform in front of an audience.  Please be on time and remember that dress rehearsal is MANDATORY.  Thanks for your cooperation.  If you see that you will need help getting your child to and/or from rehearsals please let us know and we will try to help arrange car-pooling for you. 

Early registration for returning students ONLY will begin June 1^st.  Only returning students are allowed to register from June 1^st – July 4^th.   After July 4^th open registration begins and it is first come first served so please register early if you intend on returning.  Each year I have people terribly upset because the classes they want are closed.  We have had waiting lists for ¾ of our classes for the past 4 years.  Please register early if you want to guarantee a spot.  Thanks for your support and for a great year!  We can’t wait for you to see the shows.  Remember to pick up your Parent Packs the first week of June.
